In My Mailbox # 5

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren , find out more about it on her IMM-page.

I could have had a better week if my cute postie (really, he is sooo cute and handsome, and he delivered 7 out 8 books on 3 different days to me this week, and all of these 3 times I was asleep when he rang the bell at the door and yes, it was past 11 am, so I am a really lazy person...and still he smiled that cute smile....*melting*)  would have delivered ALL of my ordered books, which he didn't, and it feels like the rest of my books have gone missing, because they should have been here already!!

Anyway, I got a mix of chick-lit and YA this week:

Finding Mr.Flood  - Ciara Geraghty

Sea - Heidi R.Kling   (Liked it, it was different from what I expected, it surprised me!)
The Body Finder - Kimberly Derting ( This one I picked up at the bookstore in town of my uni, was really surprised they had it, loving it so far!)

Another S.A.S.S (Students Across the Seven Seas) has arrived, still a couple missing :S

Now and Zen - Linda
Gerber

Prom & Prejudice - Elizabeth Eulberg
A Werewolf in Manhattan - Vicki Lewis Thompson

Rules of Attraction - Simone Elkeles

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that I've posted two IMM's back to back. I don't really have an excuse for that besides the fact that I've been really really busy with uni this week, but now all papers (that had to be handed in immediately) have been handed in, and I hope to finally find the time to post all my reviews!

Now, I'm really interested in what you all got this week, hope you all had an exciting week!

Happy Reading!

New Books # 30

New Books

Postie didn't come today, so I guess I'll have to wait for more books until Monday, and I'm not good at waiting, grrr. Yesterday I was supposed to go to Stockholm, where I wanted to browse the book-store where they actually sell books in English, but due to lots of  snow and a storm and ensuing chaos I was forced to stay at home.

So, this is what I got since my last New Books :

Nightshade - Andrea Cremer; Firelight - Sophie Jordan; The Iron King - Julie Kagawa
Beautiful Covers - but what's up with all these partial faces?

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Firelight by Sophie Jordan
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

Halo - Alexandra Adornetto

New Books #29

New Books

Since there won't be any more IMM's this year I've decided to post the new books I get, whenever I get them.
So, today I got two books, I'm really excited....But there are still 5 books missing...'postie where are you? You haven't gone to the North Pole I hope, I know it's a bit confusing right now, with the temperature so low and the masses of snow...but please please....'

The Iron Daughter - Julie Kagawa; Walking Back to Happiness - Lucy Dillon
The Iron Daughter - Julie Kagawa
Walking Back to Happiness - Lucy Dillon

These are two of the most gorgeous covers I've ever come across. I already knew that The Iron Daughter was beautiful but it's even more so in reality, and there are like *actual* snowflakes on the cover of Walking Back to Happiness...so pretty!

In My Mailbox #2 (New Books # 27)

In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren , find out more about it on her IMM-page.

I've had kind of a bad week, I only got three books. It's mostly due the snow and the bad weather, my ordered books just didn't arrive. But be sure to come back here next week, I have lots and lots of  (mostly) YA-books on the way!

Coming Home and Could it be Magic? by Melanie Rose

After I've read Down to Earth by Melanie Rose recently, which I loved, loved, loved, I just had to order her other two books, aren't they cute??
Coming Home - Melanie Rose
Could it be Magic? - Melanie Rose

Psych Major Syndrome - Alicia Thompson

The third book I've received this week is Psych Major Syndrome by Alicia Thompson. I've already read it (rather quick, in only a few hours) and I've written a very very short review here.

This is what was in my Mailbox this week...so, what did you get?

New Books # 21

This week I only got one book (bought - ordered by me) in addition to the four books I bought in Stockholm at the beginning of this week. Anyway, it's a book I've been waiting for a long time and the Swedish mail took a looooong time to send it to me...arrgh

I have a few reviews lined up, hopefully I'll have time to post them soon (my days are busy with the intern-ship at the University library and the travel there, which takes my about 4 hours every day due to delayed trains)

If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now - Claire LaZebnik

New Books # 20

So, I was in Stockholm today, my first day of my internship. So far I've survived even though I was late caused by a late train which led to missing the second train and so on...
Anyway, we finished quite early, as it was the first day - lots of information and administration - so I had some time to go to the big book-store with English books. Sure, I already own most of them, but today I ventured into the YA-section (didn't even know they had one in English)...so this is the result:

North of Beautiful - Justina Chen Headley; Lock & Key, Along for the Ride, Just Listen - Sarah Dessen

New Books # 19

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry I've been so quiet lately and I'm sorry to say I'll be even more quiet in the weeks to come.
I've come down with a nasty eye-infection a few days ago, and it just doesn't want to heal. It hurts really bad (and I shouldn't even write this, because it hurts even more when I'm looking at a screen) and I just can't read. I'm really bored because I can't do anything.
Anyway, next week my internship will start and I will have even less time to read. I'm really sorry.

The Exile - Diana Gabaldon; Amy Inspired - Bethany Pierce; Girl, Stolen April Henry
I'm sorry for the bad quality, my camera is dead and I just can't deal with any kind of light right now :(

Here are the books I got last week, the one I'm particularly waiting for still hasn't arrived, don't really know what to do, it's been a while since it's been dispatched :(

Good Enough To Eat - Stacey Ballis; Since You've Been Gone - Emma Heatherington; The Wedding Planner - Melanie La' Brooy

New Books # 16

Hello again, I've been very busy lately and I haven't read a single book this past week. I'll be busy with uni, kitchen and my upcoming internship in the next few weeks as well, but hopefully I'll manage to find more time to read!
Anyway, during the past week I got some really interesting and beautiful books.

These four books were kindly sent to me by Bookalicious Ramblings , THANK YOU!

The WAGS- series by Anonymous
A Reluctant Cinderella - Alison Bond
The following books I've bought myself.
The (Im)perfect Girlfriend - Lucy-Anne Holmes
I know I'm a bit late with this one, but I only read the prequel 50 Ways to Find a Lover last week, is has been collecting dust on my shelf since like forever..tsts. It's hilarious, funny and I stayed up late to finish it, so of course I had to order the sequel immediately!

The DUFF (designated ugly fat friend) - Kody Keplinger; The Atlas of Love - Laurie Frankel
Before I Forget - Melissa Hill
This is the start of my catching-up on Melissa Hills books. I read Please Forgive Me recently, (I actually bought it on my desperate book-shopping-day in Switzerland) and was completely blown away...Now I only need to have some free-time to read!!

Books I'm waiting for!!

Yes, I should be asleep by now. But I'm just so jazzed up, so much adrenalin in my body. I got 8 new books today, with by me previously unread authors (except one).
So, I was just thinking about which books I'm currently waiting for, so here is my list!

  • An Echo in the Bone - Diana Gabaldon
  • The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown
  • Girl from Mars - Julie Cohen
  • I Heart Hollywood - Lindsey Kelk
  • The Good Luck Girl - Kerry Reichs
  • A Field Guide to Burying Your Parents - Liza Palmer
I'm sure there are more, but my brain is shutting down for today...
